USB Mode 

USB Scanners will automatically be detected by VisitorRego.NET however if a Comport Emulated scanner is being used then VisitorRego.NET will need to be configured to use the correct comport for the scanner.

A simple way to check whether or not a scanner is in Com Emulation, is to open notepad and scan a barcode while notepad is the active window. If the barcode number appears in notepad then the scanner is not in Com emulation mode.
