Quick Install 


VisitorRego is distributed in two files:

Setup.exe
VisitorRego.msi

To install, double click the file Setup.exe.

Below are the windows that will guide you through the installation process.
 
 



Click Next to continue




Click Next to continue




Click Next to continue




When Setup has been fully installed press Next.




When VisitorRego.NET has been successfully installed the logo below will appear on the desktop:





Note: if installed on a (x86) file structure then VisitorRego.NET will need to be re linked to the install directory after install. To tell if a computers using a (x86) file structure:

  • Click on the ‘Windows/Start Button’ on the task bar then click on the ‘My Computer’( XP) or Computer (Vista and Windows 7).

  • Once in the My Computer screen and double click on the drive labelled ‘C:’.

  • Once in C: look for a folder called ‘Program Files (x86)’ if this folder is present then the computer is using a (x86) file system.

 

 

 

 

To Re link VisitorRego.NET to its files first access ‘System setup’ this can be done from reception mode by clicking ‘Options>System setup’.





Once under System Setup navigate to the ‘File Locations’ tab and clicking on the ‘Browse’ button to search for the location of VisitorRego.NETs files i.e. ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\VisitorRego.NET\Res’.





If the VisitorRego.NET is utilising a webcam then the file where the webcam photos are stored will also need to be relinked.

To do this navigate to the ‘Photo ID’ tab of System Setup and brows for the location where VisitorRego.NET stores the webcam images i.e. ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\VisitorRego.NET\PhotoID’.
