File Locations

File location defines the names of directories where system resources are located.

This configuration is specific to the work station being worked on i.e. it doesn't apply all work stations on the network.
This configuration applies to all users who logon to the work station and use VisitorRego. i.e. it's not user specific.

It is navigated from the Registration screen; 'Options'; 'System Options' - 'File Locations' tab

Below is the screen shot showing the default directory locations

Labels The directory where all label templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing of labels between VisitorRego.NET workstations.
Health & Safety The directory where all health and safety instruction templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing of these instructions between VisitorRego.NET workstations.
Photo IDs The directory where all health and safety instruction templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing these photo IDs between VisitorRego.NET workstations. The location of this directory needs planning as there can be thousands of photo ID files taking considerable disk space.
Web Based Help Check this box to use the help located at VisitorRego web site.
Web Site  The URL of the VisitorRego web site.

The button to the right of the directory names enables a directory to be browsed for.

Click on this button to open screen as below:

When any of the data changes, the 'Apply' button becomes enabled. Click on the 'Apply' button to save the changes to the system configuration file.
To exit without saving any changes click the 'Cancel' button.
