Email Notification
To email notification to the staff member that their visitor has arrived.
1. Turn on 'Send Email Notification' from the 'Self Registration' tab (from 'Options'; 'System Setup' off the main menu)

2. You need to specify an email server that VisitorRego.NET will send the email - from the 'Email' tab (from 'Options'; 'System Setup' off the main menu)

In the field 'SMTP server (Mail server)' specify the SMTP mail server that VisitorRego will use to send the email.
In the field 'Reply Email Address' specify the reply address the email will be created with.
3. All emails are sent via a gateway - at least one VisitorRego.NET session needs to be defined as the gateway when
sending emails or sending data to the remote server.
Check 'This is the Gateway'. Emails will then be sent using the current VisitorRego.NET session.
For more detailed description see the section on sending data to the remote server.
4. For an email to be sent, the staff member needs to have an email address. The staff members email address can be maintained either by:
a. Within the active directory, then loaded into VisitorRego via the 'Load Staff from Active Directory' (from 'Options' off the main menu).
b. Within an excel spread sheet, then loaded into VisitorRego via the 'Load Staff from Xcel' (from 'Options' off the main menu).
c. Or directly within VisitorRego using the 'Maintain Staff' maintenance screens (from 'File' off the main menu).

Important - the 'check' box by the staff members email address also needs to checked for VisitorRego.NET to send the email.
Loading staff details from active directory, staff may not want to receive an email notification, you can uncheck this box.
On subsequent loads from the active directory the data is merged with that data held in VisitorRego.NET this check box is
maintained in VisitorRego.NET and not the active directory.
